Ooo, Iggg, Ick....
Well, finally changed the template for this one; while I liked the blood red background with black type, it was hard to read and I didn't like the actual structural layout of the thing. I still want to hack the colors on this one; while the sort of seedy-burnt-orange is Cthulhu-propriate, I still feel I could do better.
ADVENTURE, touted in the last posting, ended a couple weeks ago in a flurry of sentient monkeys, jungle fever, and rice-throwing. I staged a wedding between the Evil Dr. Mobius and one of our heroes, the world's pre-eminent linguist Dr. Brighetta Rosen. Monkeys make great maids of honor, that's all I'll say. Anyway, Tuesday gaming is gone again for me, I've got classes and so am missing out on playing in Stephen's 7th Sea campaign. However, I'm promised that my character (the oh so suave and handsome Lorenzo DeAmici) is going to create a tremendous amount of trouble for my fellow players in my absence. Huzzah!
In other news, we finally played Masks again. I am sworn to finish this before Keely graduates from college, goddam it! They're back in Shanghai, and the archives will be updated this week. I'm also deep in the throes of The Lunar Ellipse, where I am playing--completely against type--a very rude and insensitive character. RuneQuest is still ticking away, the party finished the Giant Baby Cradle adventure relatively unscathed, and now are contemplating spending Dark Season in Pavis, training their skills and becoming further badasses. Mallery has decided to abandon her healer character (strangely, her own real-life impulse to smack people interferes with the mandate of her goddess) and move on. I'm trying to edge her toward Basmoli Lion-men, but she has an aversion to playing male characters and wants to try a Telmori instead.... Rrrgggh.... Make my life hard! Go ahead!
